Our Method
Love Music. Play Better Together.
At our school, this isn’t just a motto — it’s the heart of how we teach.
Love Music
Everything begins with passion. When students truly enjoy music, learning becomes natural. We believe that love for music sparks curiosity, invites creativity, and keeps students coming back to the instrument again and again.
Play Better
“Play” is more than performance — it’s a mindset. With THE PLAYBOOK, our custom-built curriculum developed by founder Keeton Coffman, we break music down into simple, stackable skills — like musical building blocks. Fun leads to freedom. Students learn through joyful exploration, not dry repetition. From day one, we encourage creativity through early songwriting and recording in each of the lessons, helping students hear their progress, build confidence, and begin seeing themselves as real musicians.

The Dream
Our Story
Rehearsal Room Music School was founded in 2014 by Keeton and Sarah Coffman — not by a corporation, but by artists. This is no run-of-the-mill franchise. It’s a school built by artists, run by artists, made for artists.
Keeton Coffman is a professional touring singer-songwriter with over 20 years of experience, 10+ albums, and recognition from outlets like American Songwriter. His journey began in 2005 as a worship leader and music director at Second Baptist and Faithbridge Church, where he learned to develop young players into confident musicians, singers, performers, and worship leaders.
Sarah Coffman, a creative force in her own right, founded You’re A Star in 2005 — a beloved preschool ballet and enrichment program. Her passion for early childhood education and the arts now fuels the extracurricular branch of Rehearsal Room, where even the youngest students can fall in love with music and movement.
Together, Keeton and Sarah created a school where passion meets purpose — where every student is invited to Love Music. Play Better Together.
