Beginning in 2024, we are proud to announce Rehearsal Room Strings - a private lesson & ensemble program designed to help Violin, Viola and Cello players learn how to play well known classical pieces as well as pop music favorites (from Guns N Roses to Taylor Swift) in a group format. Like no other strings program in all of Houston, Spring or Tomball, Strings students have the opportunity to play concerts backing singer-songwriters as well as join contemporary bands playing pop, rock and country music!
LESSONS + ENSEMBLE + CONCERTS
What does Rehearsal Room Strings include?
A weekly 30 minute lesson with one of our instructors on violin, viola or cello to help the student perfect technique and develop familiarity and confidence for their ensemble class
A weekly one hour ensemble class where the students play classical favorites, popular music from today’s artists in orchestral format and accompany singer-songrwiters from Rehearsal Room, experiencing the joy of working with and learning from other musicians, making friends, and developing musical skills apart from sight reading (playing by ear, improvisation, music theory, etc.)
Performances here at Rehearsal Room as part of our studio wide “Rehearsal Room Fests” as well as special ensemble performances to be announced throughout the year
